1. Information We Collect

Flash Daily Insights collects the following information to provide our service: account information (name, email address) provided during registration; financial data accessed through your QuickBooks Online connection via read-only OAuth API access; usage data including how you interact with our platform; and technical data such as browser type, device information, and IP address.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the Flash Daily Insights service; generate AI-powered financial insights and daily briefs from your QuickBooks data; process subscription payments via Stripe; communicate service updates and support; and improve the quality of our insights and platform.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption for data at rest and in transit, OAuth-based read-only access to QuickBooks (we never store your QuickBooks credentials), and secure cloud infrastructure. We never sell, share, or provide your financial data to third parties for their own use.

4. QuickBooks Data

We access your QuickBooks Online data exclusively through the official Intuit API using read-only OAuth 2.0 tokens. We do not modify, delete, or write any data to your QuickBooks account. Financial data is processed to generate insights and is stored securely with encryption. You can revoke access at any time through your QuickBooks account settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Intuit/QuickBooks for financial data access. Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their handling of your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated insights for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days. Processed financial snapshots used for trend analysis may be retained in anonymized form.

7. Your Rights
